Welcome to the pearl of Africa

The 11th annual Capacity Africa 2017 will be returning to Uganda for the second time, having been previously located in South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania. We can't wait to welcome the continent's entire carrier community once again this September!

Why Uganda?

Uganda’s competitive local telecoms landscape is currently operated by more than 20 service providers, serving a population of around 37.5 million. A flourishing market, a landlocked location and exciting new initiatives such as Google’s Project Link, mean that moving the event to Kampala will create the new opportunity for new business partnerships, as well as bring a fresh focus to the event.

Travel advice:

There are frequent international flights into Entebbe airport. European direct flights fly from Brussels, Istanbul and Amsterdam. Flights from within Africa fly from Nairobi and Johannesburg. Flights from the Middle East fly from Abu Dhabi, Doha and Dubai.

Delegates are responsible for checking their own visa requirements. Uganda offers the option of a visa-on-arrival-process for certain nationalities. As soon as you have registered and paid for your pass in full, we will be happy to prepare a visa support letter for you, should you require one. All visitors to Uganda must be in possession of a valid Yellow Fever certificate.
