  • EU states free up 700MHz band

    The European Council has approved plans to free up mobile broadband spectrum in the 700MHz band across the 28-nation bloc to provide faster mobile broadband speeds and improve access to internet services, particularly in remote areas.

  • Packet selects Zayo for international connectivity

    Zayo has been selected by Packet, a New York City-based infrastructure startup, to support IP, capacity, flexibility and Ethernet connectivity.

  • BT claims 2Tbps record on fibre network

    BT has claimed a world record for data transmission speeds on a live core network between London and Dublin.

  • TEOCO launches ASSET Capacity mobile network tool

    TEOCO, the provider of engineering, assurance and analytics solutions to communications service providers (CSPs) worldwide, has announced the launch of ASSET Capacity, its newly rebranded network capacity planning tool.

  • Juniper Networks joins the Telecom Infra Project

    Juniper Networks has underscored its drive to open architectures by joining the Telecom Infra Project (TIP), the engineering-focused initiative led by Facebook, SK Telecom and Deutsche Telekom, among others, which encourages the adoption of an open approach to global networks.
