Capacity Media wins prestigious industry award for Myanmar Connect 2013
Capacity Media beat stiff competition to win the Best New Geographical Launch Award for Myanmar Connect 2013 at the Conference Awards 2014. Held at Battersea Evolution in London on 13th June 2014, the awards attracted over 700 industry figures to celebrate success and innovation in conferences and events. See the full list of winners
Myanmar Connect 2013 was co‐hosted by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and attended by the President of Myanmar. The conference brought together 457 attendees representing 180 organisations from 25 countries to become the largest-ever inaugural Capacity conference.
Through strategic partnerships with industry bodies and leading figures in Myanmar and an innovative marketing campaign, the event united the full spectrum of international telecoms organisations with the Myanmar market for the first time.

The Conference Awards were created and designed to recognise and reward excellence within the conference and events industry and are the only event for the commercial conference and events industry.
