President C&W NETWORKS

Paul Scott has more than twenty-five years of experience in the telecommunications industry and has been instrumental in the growth and success of C&W Communications, since the Columbus years. As the current President of LATAM and Wholesale, he is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and translating the company’s vision and strategy into action plans.

Under his leadership, C&W Communications and its business unit, C&W Networks, has evolved into the primary bandwidth backbone in the Pan-Caribbean region delivering innovative carrier class solutions. This is evidenced by the recent industry award wins from Global Telecom Business (GTB) for the “Innovation Award for Wholesale Service” for leading the industry’s most innovative and successful partnerships between operators and vendors, the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF), award for “Wholesale Service Provider of the Year Award (CALA)” and “Service Innovation of the Year Award (CALA).” In addition, for the 4th consecutive year (2013-2016), C&W Networks was recognized as the “Best Caribbean Wholesale Carrier” by the Global Carrier Awards organization.

Scott’s extensive international experience in the communications industry includes various corporate management positions in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean, spanning the communications tower, satellite, cable TV and subsea network sectors. Prior to joining C&W, he served as President of Caribbean Crossings, the subsea network division of Cable Bahamas.

In the U.S., he was the former SVP GM of Lodestar Towers, and held previous executive management roles in the cable TV business, including VP/GM & President. He received his BA from Loyola University of Chicago and MBA from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
