Tony Martin

Currently serving as the Infrastructure Market Manager at CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. (CSA), Mr. Martin is a Senior Ecologist with over 25 years of U.S. and international experience in applied marine and freshwater ecology. He provides permitting coordination services for activities as diverse as fiber optic cable networks; liquefied natural gas (LNG) deepwater ports; and restoration and mitigation activities for seagrass, oyster reefs, and coral reef habitats domestically as well as in Caribbean, Central/South America, and Southeast Asia.  Mr. Martin has to his credit the publication of four abstracts and 72 federal government reports as well as numerous professional presentations since 1988.  He has also published four refereed scientific journal articles since 1991. As a Project Manager for numerous fiber optic cable projects, Mr. Martin is extensively involved in the environmental permitting process; data collection, analysis, and documentation required to survey, install, operate, and decommission a submarine fiber optic cable network. He has extensive experience in all aspects of preparing and coordinating US National Environmental Policy Act documents as well as Environmental and Social Impact Assessments that are compliant with World Bank Group, General Environmental, Health, and Safety Guidelines and Industry Sector EHS Guidelines, the IFC Practice Standards, and the Equator Principles which form the foundation for approval of projects funded by Equator Principles Financial Institutions.
